Metastatic melanoma
Gross examination of a transverse section of the left ventricular free wall whos multiple nodules of dak-pigmented lesions ranging in size from 1 to 4 mm in greatest dimension. They involve the compact zone and the trabecular zone of the ventricular wall. Some chrdae tendinea of the mitral valve (uninvolved by tumor) are visible in the left upper corner.
