Curriculum - Pericardial cyst (Benign "tumor")
Pericardial cyst are usually unilocular and are lined by mesothelial cells with a fibrous wall and focal aggregates of lymphocytes. On imaging they can be diagnosed as tumors. However, the histologic exam can prove that these are completely bening lesions from the histopathologic staandpoint.
